Afternoon

Got some Morettes to fit to my Rallye, going to attempt the change tomorrow

What I want to know is what's the easiest and best way to remove the headlights without breaking anything?

Does the grille need to come off? Bumper off?
Don't want to break anything whilst taking lights out and hockey sticks off

Grill and hockey sticks have to come off and then spray the screws with WD40 or something similar as they'll probably be seized.

Grill and hockey sticks come off as one?

The hockey sticks fix to rear of grill with plastic clips?

Grill held on with bolts along top?

No, they are seperate but you have to take the grill off to take the hockey sticks off, be carefull when removing them as the clips whick clip under the lights are easily broken.

Yeah as above I've done this tons of times
Use a pair of knifes / spoons to remove the 4 retaining pegs
Remove your 4 pegs
Unscrew the 10mm nut from the centre of the grille
Then try and wiggle the under light trims free from the wing side
Pulling them forward

(There is a chance you'll break the clips!
I'd get some spares in 1st)

Lift up your bonnet release catch and remove
With grille and light trims all as 1 Wink

Morettes going on so won't need hockey sticks. However I will get new clips anyway incase I switch back at any point.

So try to undo 4 retainer pegs first, then go grill off and HS together in one go

Then unbolt lights

Well when separating the trims from the grille looking from the top/front lift up and twist away
4/5 I've got them apart without breaking the clips on the grille Wink
