so..... i have bought another gti6 everything on the car works, Air con, sunroof etc but the passenger window does not.
i have checked the feed to the window motor and it is getting the correct voltage when the switched is pushed but nothing happens......
So i went about my day and took a friend out in it and just as we got in the car i said ''oh the window doesnt work'' he pushed it any way and it went down.....then wouldnt go up only down.... then it came out the runner and hit the bottom of the door!!

so really i want to know is this common? and are they easy to fix? and what the hell is it that needs replacing?

ive been on here before with previous gti 6s and you guys have been pretty spot on... any ideas?
