You win the points. 77mph? limit + 10%.... tyres with built in imbalance?

Still at least people tried to help rather than questioning why a tyre would be made specifically to wobble at that speed! Roll eyes Roll eyes Razz

they will not be made to wobble.

French speed limit - 130 kph aka 80 mph.

you either have a f**ked tyre or a f**ked wheel or cannot balance a wheel properly.

they arent "uk spec" as they all come from the same factory, most supplied from germany.

I've said it was p**s-take.....

But don't dare question my balancing skills

Just drove the supercharged 6 home in the p**sing rain for the first time since fitting PS3's on the front and SUCH a difference! Pretty much like "what rain??" Still can't be aggressive with the power as I dont have a front diff but these are definitely the best tyres I've ever had in the wet by far. Will have to see about some rears as well soon I think!

Still controlable and predictable past the limit as well. Same as in the dry up Prescott hill climb deff worth the extra money.

how well do the ps3s last on the gti6?
they don't last long on my mondeo, 10-15k on fronts and around double that on the rears
They are also s**t in snow and ice but what isn't that isn't made for that!

To be fair, that sounds alright. T1rs I got 4k from the fronts and 7k from the back. LOL
My pe2s have done 35k but I switched them when the fronts were getting low.

I've not had mine on long enough to know how they last to be honest and their on my fun car so will get hammered most of the time. Don't expect them to last anyway lol

I've found michelins to always be among the longest lasting tyres in general anyway.

Yeah i had PS2s on my old car and they still had 6ish mm of tread on when i sold the car 11000 miles later. Cant complain at that. My T1rs on the other hand were almost on the wear markers after 8000 miles Sad

this is doing my swede in nowCrazy
Just rung tyre place as i need at least one tyre. He says no pe2's or ps3's in a 55 profile, only Eco crap. He said do what everyone else does and goto 50 profile.
That would be great if i needed 4 tyres and had the cash available.
My car is standard height and dont want tyres looking lost in the arches.
Is EVERYONE running 50's or do you all use another brand of tyre which is as good?Dunno
