Ive used ps3 on my mondeo for over 3 years now, never tried anything else on it, if they keep katie on the road they must be very good, im very happy with them, there very dear though at around £150 each for 18/40/225.

Yeh I looked yesterday he only michelins our suppliers have in 55 profile are energy savers. Bit some of those are A rated in the wet so still good tyres.

I went for Avon ZV5's in 55 profile on the diesel and they are very very good for the price. Think I got them for 55 each or something. (Also I balance cyclones correctly unlike most garages!)

Yes mick tyres on each axle must be the same size and profile. Will fail mot otherwise. Also can upset ABS if one wheel is a different profile. What make have you got on there currently?

Lol. Yet to have a silly warm day to see what they are like in the warm. Meant to be proper sticky. I don't think their actually to bad in the wet considering the tread pattern. However I'm not impressed with them as a daily tyre for handling power..... I found Toyo T1S a huge amount better.
Much better than T1R anyway!

I may well buy a pair of decent Avons for the front to try soon as we get them fairly cheap at work. Got some for my mates cooper S works and he's over the moon. And If I like better than the paradas then the lot will go.

When I was skint I bought the avon zv3s to get me out trouble and for a budget tire they weren't too bad. Not a patch on high end ones but worth the money.

As said I run Zv5's on my HDi now and for the cost they are very good. The ones I got for the mini were ZZ3's which I can get for £60 a corner in 205/40/17 which ain't bad. Or pay £20 a corner more for Pirelli P 0's
