I have a black 1998 DT
Had it 10 years.
Just the usual nips and tucks.
Timing belt done after 80 thousand miles.
Fantastic car. Better than the HDI

The best engine in the world is the vagina, it takes any size piston, its self lubricating, starts with 1 finger, and every 4 weeks does its own oil change. It's just a pity the management system is so fecking temperamental.

And it's an easy choice really, 300-350 miles to £70 in the rallye or 400-450 in the Dturbo for about £5 more? Makes no sense does it?
And as a lot of people say a few small performance tweeks can up the economy as well

Jealous of my perfect work/earnings ratio Peter, you aren't the first lad Whistle

Real world mpg from your diesel will shock you. I have the v6 and I have the diesel, the difference is not as much as you think.

I have the patience to wait for your thread moaning that you are hardly getting anymore to a tankful.

Big grin

Right then daz, just a little update for you with my fuel consumption update
46.3 mpg (500 miles to 49 ltrs) that's a dam sight better than the wallye Flip
