Anyone know of a ballparkfigure in weight (kg) what a stripped out 306 would weigh approx?

I removed the backseats, frontseats, doorpanels, plastic bits from inside, 50% of the carpet.
got some carbon doorcards , Sparco Evos, carbon bonnet

what would you need to do to get around the 1000kg mark?

Struggle to get it under 1000kg unless you start getting very serious and think about lighter hubs, rims, alternator, engine mount, no heater/matrix etc

Believe Alan Dixons 306 race car was over 900kg and that was with an alloy 1800 block, 20l fuel tank etc.

Anything below say 1070-1100 basically means you pay for lighter alternatives as well as removing stuff.
Things like lighter wheels and poly windows and all the other stuff mentioned above.

Mine is 1000kg. Fully stripped, no carpets, perspex front door cards. Sound deadending behind dash gone, air bags, ecu's and wires gone, 7kg per bucket seat, only one silencer box in ss exhaust, all a/c and PAS gone including all pipes etc, alloy rad. Think thats it.

My Rallye was 1140kg
Taking out the full interior, rear seats, plastics, carpets, seatbelts etc took 65 kg out.
Removing spare wheel & cage took more out...
Then it got seriousDoh

Cool

I forgot to tell that the spare wheel and it's mount, were also taken out of the car.
This next stage on mine will be reaching 850/860kgs with complete cage and extinguishers...but with a lot of fibre glass, grinding and machined parts.
