Wave everyone,
been hanging around here for a while now and figured it was about time I coughed up something for the information I have gleaned from here over the years.
so, I have a 2002 Platinum Silver 306 cab, and before I get ridiculed, I just want to say that it wasn't always like this. It started it's life as an immaculate silver and black milk float, until while testing the transplanted 6 engine/box one day an unfortunate accident on a blind crest reduced the horse carrying capacity to a small foal, hence the cab Wink and to make matters worse it's now fitted with an AT6 box with flappy paddles so theoretically it is a 6 Wink
Currently rebuilding and updating it so may be looking for parts given they not to easy to come by down here, and no it's not expensive to ship to Australia Whistle

Welcome Puggered!

You had a milk float with a gti-6 engine, crashed, then bought a 306 cab that you've put an upgraded gearbox in - is that right? Why did the new gearbox make matters worse?

Did you put the gti engine in too?

Start a wanted ad with a list of the parts you want.

You'll need to throw money at the car. Not on parts. Just stand near your car and throw loose change at it, I find this increases performance for a short period of time

You try owning a Volvo V70 P2. Makes the 6 look agile in car parks.
I now don't have that issue. Welcome! Smile
