Is there a way when you search you posts to try and remember posts/threads you can select a filler feature on the forum you think the thread originated in?

Trying to find a thread I know I have pictures in but to many pages to check through however if a forum filler existed it would reduce the his to search through.

Stan ditch getting those pictures and get on this please.

LOL

I'm sure it's an easy enough thing for Ash to add. He'll probably be along later and should be able to sort it out for you. I agree, it would be a nice feature to have. Thumbs up

The Advanced Search has a "by forum" filter. How about if I add a username filter onto that, so you can specify a search string, a username and the forum(s) to search in?

I was going top say there is an element of the search in advanced but doesn't help with username especially if the original thread title was vague, obscure etc.

I'll let Stan take the credit for it if it's done by the morning.

Although if you base it on the search will it help you find your posts?

First test of this isn't promising ... takes way too long. Needs more work, sorry.

Cheers

Works as I found the picture I was looking for.

To get you lot off the edge of your seats this was the picture I was looking for not sure it was the same thread as originally posted in but it worked none the less.

+1 for Stan for instegating/implementing this change.
