Hello,

I am thinking of getting a new exhaust for my track car.
The problem is my local track (croft) have a 88db noise limit for most of their track days which I think is going to take some meeting.
I currently have a decat and Magnex exhaust (so not the quietest setup Whistle ) and at the last track day it was supposedly 89db which does not seem right - using the meter from work I measure 98db which seems more like it.

I was thinking about the Jetex system with my decat, does anyone have an idea what the db's might be on this setup? (I have done some searching but could not find any numbers from people who have used them) - The car also has a pipercross induction kit

Put it this way i run a 6 with said set up and it is very quiet, the induction noise is a lot louder than exhaust note.

Do not know db levels but is is pretty refined IMO.

You won't get much quieter it's obscenely heavy due to the size of the boxes.

Shouldn't take that much to meet it. I got 88db with a 3" Magnex and decaf ast my last session at brandshatch.

FYI just to update for anyone else searching like I was jetex with 4-2-1 (so decat) went 86db at castle combe so we’ll whithin limits
