I think my VTS engine needs another oil pressure sender unit that makes the warn light come on in the dash when ignition is on.

Is the 306 GTI6 sender unit the same as the VTS one ?

Looking on service box it appears that this part is NFP, part number is > 113171

Its the grey one that is on the NS of the engine block behind the starter, the service box picture isnt as clear as it could be because this part looks like it goes on the bottom of the block Unsure

Any ideas on what i should do to replace for a new one or would i have to go second hand ?

Cheers Thumbs up

The oil pressure switch for the dash can also be fitted in the hole above the oil filter. This is where mine is located. Yes
