I've always found beams to be one of the first things to go and it's surprising how far people will travel when they want something.

TNT or similar would surely be worth an enquiry as long as you know the rough weight of the beam?

£60 squid from palletline using a random postcode in mold :/
Don't particularly fancy paying that twice :S ( Sending the old beam up afterwards)
I've asked CRSPARES who he uses as he sends beams every now and then at around 100 posted so I presume he pays a fair bit less than 60!

just make sure you know details of how to package.

i've received axles in the past as it was taken off a car with just an address label on Crazy

yet when i had to sort a courier to send one, i wrapped cardboard and bubble wrap around pointy edges and company refused t take it!

i literally had to make it look like i'd put the beam in a box before they took it.

one reason i prefer people to collect, as it's a real hassle spending ages wrapping. packaging not cheap either

    Check the max size/length thoughWink

As a beam won't fit on a pallet without overhanging!!!LOL

best collecting really at least you know it will arrive in the same condition it left the seller in then.

I wouldn't trust "Tuffnells", it would need a refurb indefinately after arrival. I know how their employees treat stuff and believe me it isn't pleasant to watch! LOL
