Haha Yeah i think toms bit about spraying water did the trick.
I came up with the genius idea of wiring up the live to my sack while pulling the relay too which gave me added strength.

I was open to the abuse anyway as i thought i might be a bit dumb Smile

On another note i fitted my Xsara jets and dumped the soundproofing from the bonnet earlier (good thing too seeing as it was falling apart behind)
Anyway, I can estimate via bum dyno that xsara jets add atleast 10hp.

I dumped that soundproofing many years ago. Much prefer it without, both for looks and the noise. Yes

It was definitely the right time to do it for me.
You could see it falling apart behind the black fabric and it wouldnt have been long before it fell on the engine
