Hi guys
Within the last 1000 miles I have had the clutch replaced(valeo) and forkarm.I also have strengthened gear linkages.

Basically now the box feels completely s**t(cold)slightly better warmed up, second is abit hit and miss for the fist few minutes.
Also the clutch seems to have travel in the pedal I.e I can press the pedal down an good inch or two before It even engagings.

So my line of thinking is change gearbox oil.and clutch cable.

Surely had fresh oil in the box when you changed clutch? Could be the wrong grade thoughWink

A new cable should of been fitted with new clutch really tooYes

If your still struggling after fitting a new cable it might be that your linkages need adjusting slightly, had to adjust mine when I fitted a compare quickshift to get them spot onDunno

Ok cheers guys.
Do you now how the clutch pedal is high? Does nt have a high biting point, that's fine.just the few inches of nothingness.
Does that sound like a cable fault.

It does sound like the adjuster in the cable is knackered and hasn't auto-adjusted back when you had a new clutch installed. Yes

If your old clutch was heavily worn and then the adjuster became seized in that position, now you have a new clutch the cable will have some slack before it picks up where it was before.

New cable should sort it. Thumbs up
