Only just noticed that 1 of the strut bolts just pulls out by hand. Was going to take the brace off and clean it up when i noticed the o/s nearest the front bolt just pulled out. Now iirc there m8x20mm? So would i be ok re tapping the bolt to m10?

Cheers olly

could just get a slightly longer bolt and put a nut on the other side of it.

Cheers rich took me 5 mins to find it gain thought i was going mentalHyper so how comes you cant put a 25mm strut bolt in because it fouls the strut pan but you can put a nut on the other side? Think it was swampy that said that

I found putting the 3rd nut on the bolt was a nightmare!!! can hardly get fingers in behind the spring to place it on, so gave up and used my existing struts that didn't have the thread buggered.

You'll need to throw money at the car. Not on parts. Just stand near your car and throw loose change at it, I find this increases performance for a short period of time

As above, get some mounts with decent threaded holes. I've a few pairs here if you want some.
