Just a wee post, moving onto newer pastures as of tomorrow.

All in, no messing about, off to the south of Spain to polish boats, nice cars and planes.............

Heading south tomorrow so if anyone sees a china 6 ( WITH A ROOFBOX!! ) then give me a wee shout and a toot.

Anyone ever down that way for a holiday then be sure to drop me a PM and drop in for a wee cold beer or 2

Still be on here obviously,

All they best everyone, have a great christmas!!!!

Ally

Loved the drive, did it in 2 days, Poole to Cherbourg and can't remember the exact route. French roads were so easy to drive on, really relaxing and the Spanish ones not much worse. The tolls did cost me quite a lot and I should have taken the time and gone through some towns/villages and seen some sights instead of just going for it.

Pay the tolls they are worth it. When I've been on the boats it maximise p**s up time not logistics to move to Spain.

All the best

I'm driving down to northern Spain in the summer, some nice looking / sounding roads to drive along enroute

Plenty of websites about that give advice on routes to take that avoid the tolls

That's not far from where I lived, a place called Coin, by Al haurin al Grande. It's slightly inland from Marbella and the Coin road is great just as you leave Marbella, you can really push the 6 on some fast corners. I almost had my dad in tears when I showed him what the car could do LOL
