This might seem like a daft question as this is the only '6 I've had and I've not poked around any others, but how many radiator fans should a phase 1 GTi 6 have? Mine only has one but the cowling has space for 2 and the extra plastic to mount a 2nd fan constitutes a fair blockage in front of the rad itself. When the fan kicks in it does eventually cool the coolant down but on it's own it takes a while and I'm thinking come the warmer summer months it might not be enough.

No a/c and it never had it either as far as I know. A friend of mine has a diablo P1 and I don't think his has or ever had a/c. I've not had a car with working a/c for a good 5 years now and haven't missed it to be honest so I'm happy without it. Big grin

I might just cut the extra plastic away from the cowling in that case. At least I know there's plenty of space for an intercooler or oil cooler should I ever go down that route with it! Razz
