Just picked up a *cough*corsa*cough*

Its an x reg corsa b tax and mot till february.
2 previous owners.both who I know. One did 130k in it and the other did 21k.
So its definately run in at 151k.

Its a 1.2 sxi.

Anyone know anything I should look for?
Got it for 160 quid and it seems alright.

With the amount I spend on fuel in the 6 just spinning about, easily 20 quid an evening
I never have enough cash to sort out the things that need sorting.

So hopefully by february it will be like a new car to me.

Sounds like a good buy, and you can rest the '6' for the winter and get all the jobs done on it. Smile

The back box is snapped off. And the oil pressure switch was leaking but she supplied one so that got swapped last night.

Never thought I would own one. But its surprisingly nice to drive.

Was planning on getting a winter car this year anyway as id kick myself if I damaged the 6.
But the six won't start now and I think I've knackered the starter to add to a list of things that need doing.

So this came up for sale just at the right time I think.

    LOL

only reason i got my 306 HDI really, got it for £700 with a blown turbo and needing some work.. fitted a new turbo (£50), steamed the whole engine and inlet and exhaust system inside out, drilled snapped checkstrap out and happy days. £70 tank of fuel is lasting me nearly 3 weeks. didn't get a week out of my 406 v6 coupe for £70. won't even mention the Merc, that did £20 a day no drama

boring though, makes you think twice pulling out on roundabouts infront of quicker cars or even trucks etc LOL

I'll give you that. When rolling it's better than a '6 but pulling away I often check the handbrake isn't engaged and lean forwards over the wheel to get out of the way of people a split second quicker than I really am.

the fact i have £10 tyres on the front (price for both i assume based on their performance) makes for hard work when revving and setting off. the tyres are horrendous. i don't know what they are called, forget now. think it's something like KimJongKoreaBudgetPavementWash tyres

    Laugh my ass off

I used decent tyres so I didn't have to slow down then accelerate out of corners and that, and they last so much longer than a linglong (mainly due to the fact that a linglong would write the car off)
