have emailed him anyway before to ask him something important about the gti6 lower radiator hose seal and if it's the same as the thermostat one. only time will tell

If it was his site it would be in comic sans with lots of HTML tags.

He's asked me to make a page for him, just loading up frontpage as we speak. I wanted to use dreamweaver, but I took his advice as he's the boss after all.

    i used to write full websites in notepad including php and cgi scripts. full code control FTW

    Back when I wasted did a full time 2 year IT course at college in the early naughties we were taught to use notepad for web design.

    Now I struggle to use Word.

    With the advent of Joomla and Drupal, hand coding in notepad is confined to the history books. There are much more efficient ways of creating standards compliant sites nowadays that render on mobile devices too.
