It'd be the gearbox that'd be the issue - tractor engines obviously have tonnes of torque, you'd just need a gearbox that could handle that much torque and wheelspin 48" tyres.

It's a good thing the transfer box is made to take those sorts of torque loads. With it directly under the driver it'd be awfully painful if it blew up!
