    another good results with the car yesterday came 4th at Thruxton. It should have been 2nd again but had a really poor pit stop, tried too hard to get time back but got a 5 sec penalty for exceeding the track limits, and the clutch started to slip towards the end due to an oil leak! But never been to this track before so pretty pleased, did have 2 pretty big moments which was a bit scary!

    Thruxton results here;

    Thanks, Davey no plans for a camera as I have too many other things to worry about

    Carl, she is holding up well, but have got an oil leak which is why the clutch had started to slip. But when it goes the she goes well, the other 306 won the race so know the car can do it, its just I didn't have the bottle round the fast stuff! still learning the car, so hope with time it will get better

    Scary! as said the other 306 went well so I tried to keep with him for a few laps but had a couple of big moments at 120+mph and only just kept it off the grass so after that I let him go!!

    yeah it killed the tyres and that the reason for the penalty as after 30mins it just would not turn in, so went wide a few times to many...........

    Watched the race and saw the car and met Carl at thruxton as I was there with the pickups.

    Absolute credit, mint tow vehicle mint trailer and an outstanding amount of preparation and detail to the car itself, a lovely piece of kit that has been maintained to the highest standards!

    Last but not least bloody good result there too on your first visit!
