Adam B has stopped making stickers so need to find someone else to make some for me, just need him to send me the artwork on a disc so I can just take it to whoever I find to do them.

Looks lovely, I'd have trimmed the left hand of the left hand square so that the edge was paralell to the bonnet shut line, cos I'm OCD like that LOL

The bonnet is finally finished and quite please with how its come out;

but sadly I have had a major set back with the guy who was doing the engine! After him having the engine since the end of September, I just kept getting broken promise after broken promise! We had a major set to and it turns out that nothing had been done and not even got the pistons for it! So I went and collected it and corrently speaking with others to see the best way forward!

Guy Croft is my reccomendation, hes neither fast nor cheap, BUT, he's very, very good. Or go with a proven Peugeot bod like Sandy Brown?

Sandy is also very busy and I doubt taking on any more builds at the moment but always worth an ask as he can no doubt recommend someone who could help.

is it just pistons you need sorting then re-assembly?

well after some thought maybe its just another block I need but am looking into it. Stripping another block tomorrow the trying my pistons in it and see how it messures up. In the original block the bores are worn in the middles.
it does need new shell, and rings so need to find some of the, the pistons are Omega I now know and there is a name and number on the shells so will try and trace that. The end bolts are ARP but need to know the torque settings.

45 ft/lbs for ARP rod bolts, grease cap,washer and thread, tighten to 45 loosen, tighten to 45, loosen, tighten to 45 for final time (This settles/stretches them) then leave them alone.

sadly Sandy Brown is far too busy to do my engine so its now with another local place which I have used before and should have really took it to in the first place but I stupidly took notice of what other people said and didnt!

so all the stickers are now on and it matches the other one, although very slighly different if you get them both together

and a few more of the bonnet

The CSCC Tin Tops is pretty good and you get very little damage but I know what you mean!

After months of waiting I finally have a engine shaped lump!

it was just a short motor so I built it all back together and started to put some shiney bits on;

and then started to make my airbox;

and then the new Omex system, just got to tidy and hide the wiring;

the new race technology dash;

just got to get it mapped next week and then off to a test day.
