Laugh my ass off @ the way this thread has gone!

I do believe that Dan is onto something though, you just know that's how it will turn out. Yes

Youre missing the point

I'm far from missing it. You said you'd pay then you said you wouldn't. Which is exactly what others will do. I'll put £10 on someone saying (I won't actually pay the £10) 'Sorry folks. I got under paid this month so can't justify the £80 Sad '

There's absolutely no point putting your name on a list if you won't commit. How does that help anybody?

A 'gauging interest' list of names getting to 49 is not worth the server space. Because unless that is followed through what does it achieve?

No actuallly you just missed it twice because you havent read the thread properly.
I am saying the following things:

Lets get a list started and go from there

I would pay around 35 quid which i think is the best compromise between likely hood of getting people, the cost and chance

I have never said I will pay 80 quid.
If you look through the thread only 3 people have even hinted at doing so.

The only way this will work is if it goes to other clubs

notably:
peugeot sport oc
306oc
pug306.net

Then we can get the numbers up.

And it will not work with people putting there name down and saying I will pay 80, as at the moment loads of people are saying, I would pay X but you wont get people to do it and then they dont put themselves on the list which achieves f all.

Nice idea... but getting the numbers is key. I'd pay £50 for a chance to win £5K worth of car

It's a brilliant idea, however I personally wouldn't invest due to having no want or use for the prize vehicle. LOL

What about getting in contact with the guys from pistonheads? Asking them to advertise it, but the way to attract attension might be, £1 a ticket and donate a certain amount to charity? You might make more than expected if it went across 100s of car forums because it was for partly for charity? Or it might just be a massive fail and you sell ten tickets, make £10, loose your car and have to give chairty a fiver lol.

Ash i will facetime you and kick the granny out of the phone but you have to fall over for the full effect.
