If you could prove it was legit I'd spend £80 on a ticket, I've spent a s**t load more on a s**t load less so odds of 49/1 sound pretty good to me. In fact, I might buy two!

Thankyou pete, it will all be done on here so everyone can see who has been given which number(s) and the lottery is the decider, i cant see any way it could be fixed, or any reason id want to try, im trying to sell the car to someone who will apreciate it not keep it. Ive met a few members on here and hope am known to be trustworthy. If more people enter it would work out cheaper for all. I wont ask for money until its all setup and everyone is agreed.

The only reason I mentioned the lottery is that we can prove it's not rigged.

I'd happily spend 80 quid on a ticket it's just one less night on the p**s

You really need to advertise it on every forum place etc as the the more places it up for sale the more chance you have of shifting tickets

Might start a barrage if this... I think its a good idea. Those supercar raffles at the airport were 100 a ticket... For a 100k + motor

Also not saying that you would, but you could "buy" yourself a ticket, fix it so you win, then pretend a mate has won. Then when everyones forgot secretly sell it.

Actually thats a pretty good idea, anyone want to buy raffle tickets for mine £10 shot?? zero chance of winning Razz .

Can't believe noone's mentioned this yet

I like the idea but I wouldn't risk £80 as I don't really want it LOL but at say £40 I would buy a ticket just for the fact I may win.

There was a Scottish castle up for sale a while back, proper place like, and was up for several £m. It wasn't selling so they owners decided to do a raffle for it, and sold each slate on the roof for £30. There were a LOT of slates! I bought one, but didn't win unfortunately, but the guy who won it bought 2 tiles and got a massive castle for £60! Apparently some people bought like thousands of tiles, gutted or what. Proves it can work, you just have to make people trust you. Personally I would feel more comfortable if the club was involved in some way, handling the money and the tickets so you as the seller are not actually involved at all until the sale is final.

Well could the club get involved then? Id be up cor that if it would make people more comfortable. I think the idea is all set, just a case of getting enough numbers interested to make it feasable cos obviously im not going to let it go if only 4 people do it and want £80 a piece, in the same way that you guys are not gonna wanna do it if its like £200 a ticket so if me and the club can come to an agreement then im up for it but we need more people on a list to show who's interested

I wouldn't buy a ticket personally for the following reason...if I won, I'd have nowhere to put it and no use for it, which means I'd have to sell it.

And you've not exactly had blazing success with that venture so I would be lumbered. LOL

It's an interesting one, and I'm not really sure to be honest.

If what you are after is somebody impartial who has no personal interest in the raffle, then I could fit that bill.

I could be the holder of the funds and publish the lists etc and see the project through to completion if it helps? Dunno

The cheaper the ticket, the more likelihood you'll get of reaching a wider audience. As long as everyone who buys a ticket is aware you need to sell a set number of tickets. Also if you make it cheaper it'll generate more interest, if it was £1 per ticket for example. As someone else pointed out, making it £80 is only likely to appeal to Peugeot enthusiasts. If it was £1 I'd buy 10 or 20 tickets just for fun tbh.
