I've just moved everything from the "Other Cars For Sale" forum into the "Peugeots For Sale" forum and renamed it "Cars For Sale".

The Cars For Sale forum is now public, accessible by any registered users. Hopefully this will encourage all GTi-6 / Rallyes to be advertised on here.

To create a new advert, go to the Cars For Sale forum and hit "new thread". Instead of the regular page, you get a longer form for your car details. Add these, and when you view the thread, a formatted advert appears at the top of the page. Example here - www.306gti6.com/forum/showthread.php?id=151514

You can edit the advert by editing post #1, and if you put a picture attachment in post #1, your advert will appear in the page footer as well.

Hope that makes sense. Let me know what you all think. I like it, it's tidy and consistent.

The old Classifieds section is still there, but will eventually be removed.

It's probably the best idea to start again with the new format. Let me know how you get on.

That's great, most of us don't even have gti6's anymore so it makes sense to sell all cars.+1

i have only just noticed but the whole separate ad bit above the first post in cars for sale threads doesn't show on any of my computarz. i've just tried it on the newest Firefox and nothing shows above the bit which lists the spec / price

just FYI. which means you can't see any prices or spec unless it's listed in the thread itself

right, sussed it out. it's Ad Blocking software. it stops the advert showing. might need fixing that as i guess a lot of people use Ad Blockers

OK ... might have fixed it, I'm not sure how clever the adblocking software actually is.

Could someone check for me? Smile
