t1-r's are pants, was glad when my pe2's arrived, and i could give my mates wheels with the toyos back.

after years of just running budget tyres on various cars, i now realise what a difference 20 quid a tyre makes. and its definately worth it.

Depends on how much your willing to spend, r888's are expensive, at the higher end there are pzero and eagle f1, but these will cost you more than say pe2's. all of these will be better than s**tty t1r's!

.pe2s are about the same as f1s. All of the above are very good tires. And as already said, the extra 20-30 chops a tire can transform the car. Smile

You can. Not available in 15s though. It's a shame as they have a stiffer sidewall and meant to be brilliant. Smile

R888s on a Sedan, let along approaching winter?

I rate PE2s above F1s and a mile above T1Rs.

Although, on a Sedan for commuting and to the odd trip to sainsburys - they will be fine.

R888's I would only recommend if the vehicle is not to be used over the winter period due to the lack of tread depth (from new) which affects the ability to clear standing water. Smile

Westlake are good. The SV308's have a cool-looking tread pattern. Not sure if they're available in 15" though.

National have usually got some good deals on them too. Thumbs up
