there are 2 green ones the same which i guess you could swap over, they looked the same to me. i think i did that initially on mine as the first one was all melted at the pinbut you do need both relays. well, my gti6 (p3) did (with aircon) ________________________________________ 306 rallye reproduction decals (full sets/individual decals) | 306 b-pillar textured vinyl weatherstrips306 slam panel esso stickers | 306 yellow / orange / pension fund red side door badges gti6 inlet manifold badges | 306 rear boot badges (p2/p3) winner of Extraction of toys from prams with outstanding vigour award 2009 [source: gti6 owners club] |

my 306 hdi heater didn't work, think the lights came on though, forget now. anyway after changing the relays and it didn't make any difference. then my mate got in, tried the heater which didn't work, so proceeded to boot the bottom of the heater in the passenger footwell once, for the heater to come back on and hasn't failed since!________________________________________ 306 rallye reproduction decals (full sets/individual decals) | 306 b-pillar textured vinyl weatherstrips306 slam panel esso stickers | 306 yellow / orange / pension fund red side door badges gti6 inlet manifold badges | 306 rear boot badges (p2/p3) winner of Extraction of toys from prams with outstanding vigour award 2009 [source: gti6 owners club] |

i'd try swapping the relays over first with a known working good one. mine actually worked by wiggling it for a bit but it was visibly knackered as the pin was melted and stuck into the fusebox in the end________________________________________ 306 rallye reproduction decals (full sets/individual decals) | 306 b-pillar textured vinyl weatherstrips306 slam panel esso stickers | 306 yellow / orange / pension fund red side door badges gti6 inlet manifold badges | 306 rear boot badges (p2/p3) winner of Extraction of toys from prams with outstanding vigour award 2009 [source: gti6 owners club] |

It's the relay. It's the green one closest the drivers door. The other are the same. But it'll be obvious if it had it. Here's my old one with exactly the same symptoms. Just pop down a scrappy and you'll find one sure. ________________________________________ See the sheer power and might of the lesser known burrowing owl. |

have u got power going to the motor??? find out which wires do wat and see what feed them n check the feeds for the correct voltage , if you have no voltage work your way to the source until you get the correct voltage. Or work from the source forwards to the same effect simples.________________________________________ |

Just pop down a scrappy and you'll find one sure. That's exactly what my phase 2 did a year or so ago. It melted the relay plug as well so had to remove all of it and cut off and re-wire etc. Worked fine since. First thing I'd do is remove the motor and stick 12v straight accross it. ________________________________________ Black power baby!
