Just installed a pair of Focal P165 V30 ind the doors of my 306 (phase 3 xs estate) Pics will follow but feel free to ask questions!!

I had to:
Modify the door cards (bigger hole)
Make a 6 mm. spacer
Cut a bigger hole in the metal part of the door
Space out the window guide aprox. 5-6 mm.
Cut two 45 mm. Holes in the mirror covers

It almost look stock and the sound is just so much better than the stock speakers !!
Pics will follow but just wanted you guy's to know that it is possible to fit 71,8 mm speakers in the doors of a phase 3.

There's something really satisfying about fitting speakers in the standard points without having them any more on show than the standard units isn't there. I remember doing the same with some top-end Infinity speakers in my old XS front & rear, and making an effort to do it well because the grills that come with the Infinity stuff are super chavtastic!
