hi guys, i'm turning my 6 into a more track orientated beast and so am gauging up some options in terms of exterior styling, in terms of stickers/decals i want something replica as close to a real peugeot rally car as possible but so far all i can find is this graphics pack off ebay, looks good in my opinion but not sure about the colour, either white or yellow?

discuss..

click here for link to decal in question

That's the 206's old livery is'nt it?

Doesn't suit the car IMO, but you know what you like.

Seeing as your car is a track car not a rally car, perhaps go down the BTCC route?

Hardly free advertising, how many people will say "well I saw that guy with the Total stickers the other day, so I'll carry on along the motorway until I see one of their petrol stations and fill up there".

Do what you want, some of the best looking track cars I've ever seen have been plastered with random stickers, who cares if you've got a sponsorship deal or not?

Google around for pics, find one you like, copy it. Job done.

    Soooo a couple of things.

Firstly you are buying off ebay. How do you know the vinyl will be any good, and do you think they'll give you enough to do the sideskirts as well as the side?

Second. The front will look completely lost with only that on it.

Third. Has your car had paint? If so don't do it if you are ever going to remove the stickers.

Fourth. I can supply the full BTCC livery for either Bowman or HTML, but at a fair cost (£250 odd). Its a bit of a git to put on too. I developed it for Carl Chamber's BTCC car and his race cars.

    Any other questions?

Also randomly some of the stickers are back to front. Is it a drift car?

everything you've said i fully take on board, the quality of the vinyl can be brought into question, the company is signkits.co.uk, everything is detailed on their website.

true, the front might look abit unfufilled.

i assume you mean its got a decent standard paint job? yes its completely standard at the mo and am aware it can damage it if the stickers where ever removed

    - could you post any pics up as i might consider them.

all i want to do is emulate other race/rally cars just by transferring the look over to my gti 6 Smile so far this is the only thing i have been able to find that is a complete kit and is tailored for the 306, i will consider anything else if people have recommendations.

everything is down to individual taste but the main aim is really just to give the car more of a 'track theme'

i'd rather put replica peugeot decals on it so it looks relevant to the car i'm driving Wink

Having seen the website, it doesn't scream quality tbh.
Carl's cars are documented on here, just search. It's not that simple now to make them as I've stopped that side to the business, but I know someone who can. Crucially I have the artwork

If that's the car you're copying you'd definitely need something else on the bonnet, it looks good on the 206 because of all the extra vents, would look far too empty on a 306.

gnrlee i see your quite a dab hand with graphic design, reckon you could come up with some designs that you think would suit the gti 6 please? Remember the colour of the car is china blue

obviously the theme is 'track' inspired

    (ideas i have to mind)

    esso logos
    peugeot written across the sides
white square for your driver number

I have no skill with photoshop or anything like that so if any one has any spare time to kill then feel free to mock up a design and post it up please

    cheerz Thumbs up

I'm planning some stickers for my track car. Not really thinking massive graphics, just a few logos to make it a bit different Smile

Oh, and my team logo that I'm yet to create! Big grin

There was a thread ages ago for ChrisD306 asking for the same thing. Chris Pellowe mocked up some good designs. Had a quick look but cant find the thread.
