Who do you insure the car with? Wanted to do a quote and thought they'd have all the modifications on system.

This still have all the suspension on it?

Was a supremely fast car point to point, even with its dying engine. Interior was in very good nick too. I bought it from Iain Litchfield as it had been in his care for a few years and I needed something quickly. It had been stood for a year so I think thats why the engine rings gave out. I did a lot of work on the handling getting it to what used to be called Type 20 Spec. I sold it to a friend (he knew the engine wasn't quite right) who then blew up the old engine and sold it to Andy.

I have never seen a service history folder like it - the original owners spent a fortune in subaru garages on it. Was the only car I regret selling, but it really didn't fit with my business so I bought the volvo estate.

Although it has a few scratches on the bumpers it is a straight one. Wish I could buy it back as a track car.

booked in for MOT in 2 weeks to aid sale, had 3 people call about it but seems insurance is a big stumbling block... check if you can get insurance on it first by the sounds of it......

great car, new knock sensor and boost pipe work cleaned up. flies even more now...

No knocks smoking turbo or rattles great classic impreza part ex possible on a tdi.

This is a UK car by the way, not an import.

Even so with the declared mod's I was quoted over £1600. I would have bought this car without blinking but I cannot justify that cost.

Sorry I i wasted your time Andy, I never imagined it would be that high.

My cousins P1 I've been debating was £500 cheaper on insurance. Crazy......

A standard P1 wouldn't see where this went on a B road. In fact not much would with the amount of speed you can carry...

That maybe the case, I was just comparing the ridiculous cost of car insurance!

A part of me see's the P1 become a classic and wondered what it might be worth in a few years.
