Anyone know roughly how much it costs to have a seat re-trimmed? Naturally the alcantara on my P1's driver's seat is shafted, but otherwise the seat itself isn't too bad.

[edit] Also where can I get this done?

Hi,

My drivers' seat squab had worn through with getting in and out so often - not surprising when you look at the avatar pic. I had the seat squab replaced at Trimmania, just south of Reading, so out of your area, but they may know someone nearer you.

It was £176, and the car was in for an overnight stay. Pricey, yes, but I'm happy with the result so to me it's money well spent.

A lot of skoda peeps use 'seat surgeons' to change the stupid white/grey interiors in the fabia, they might be worth contacting Smile

I was quoted £120 just to do the alcantara on the base of the seat and £280 for the whole seat (not the leather)
That was by a company down near Godalming and i cant remember what their called!

I still have these seats and they are still in very good condition 3-4 years later.
