Got a complete 306 hdi here to break, its got an immobiliser/ecu fault but engine and turbo are all fine, engine complete with turbo £100 or £50 for the turbo on its own, can post it to you if you not local to me?

Any use? http://www.pug306.net/forum/threads/143170-Brand-New-R70-Pump-Ko3-Iveco-Turbo

Can use the KO3 to build a hybrid with an HDi turbo. I can find a build thread on pug.net if that's helpful!

my mate uses these people, they rebuilt his mum's golf 1.9 110 bhp turbo for £350 IIRC, really depends what is knackered on it, if you want it turned around quickly you'll probably want a reman unit which is likely to be off the shelf with a pretty stock unit like a 90 bhp hdi.

give them a call.

How much of a bugger are they to swap over? I had a look for my snail the other day and could only just make it out under a mass of french engineering, so I imagine it's not a quick affair.

As far as I remember reading, it's a really s**t job. A lot of people that have done it suggest afterwards that it might have just been easier to take the engine out.

i reckon it'd be easier to do with engine out but probably get away with rocking the engine right toward and removing the full inlet and everything.. it was a ballache just removing the turbo from the housing with full workshop ramps and tools. proper pain in the arse. engine out sounds like the easier option looking at it

bit of a faff but not too hard, just support the engine on a jack and remove the top mounting arm, tilt the engine forwards after unbolting the downpipe.
