An air gun wouldn't undo it? What is it powered by, a foot pump?

Don't give up.

Stick it in fifth, let someone step on the brakes (hard)
Or if the engine is out of the car you can use a flywheel locking tool (from midlock for example)

Then get a 5 ft. long pipe and put that over the extension (don't use your ratchet for this, it will break)

My 320Nm airgun also failed to loosen it... The above method works garantueed Wink

How else are you going to loosen it with the engine in the car? Razz (if the airgun doesn't work...)

I've done this a number of times and never had any problems with it Wink

You can always get a bigger airgun though Razz
