Hi guys,

Looking for a bit of help here Smile

My PAS pump has given up and I have ordered some new replacement parts from ECP which are listed for gti6's.

The belt I got is 1165, Peugeot say I need an 1160 belt.
The PAS pump I ordered from ECP looks fine and is for the TU engine but the pulley is 142mm which is larger than my original pulley which is around 110mm

Could I adjust this to fit with the bigger pulley, or could I fit the old pulley to the new pump?
Also, I heard I should replace an O ring somewhere when replacing so if anyone has a part no for that it would be great.

I just called Peugeot and the can get me the PAS pump but none in the country so will take around a week to get here and I don't fancy paying the £300 it will cost! part no for oe pump is 4007X1

Cheers for any help guys Smile

The pulleys quite a bit bigger then, could you not have got a second hand 1 from here with the 110 pulley then the belt should tension up fine

The actual length of the belt you need is 1163mm, but a 1165mm belt is fine. Smile

As for the pump, yes as fatlapit says you need a pump for an XU layout of Pug engine, so pick up a good second hand one and fit that. Yes

Sorry guys I meant the new pump is a XU LOL

I have been on to ECP and they have given me another part no: 619735532.
It does not give the pulley size but looks to be right Smile

I will pop down there and make sure and exchange the pumps Smile

I thought about a second hand pump but just don't think its worth mucking about with a used part that could fail in 6 months time Smile

Cheers for all the help guys Thumbs up

ECP obviously don't know how to dial my number twice after I tried them with them saying they would call me back Sad
Took the wrong pump back to them for a refund and politely told them how they had wasted my time for almost two weeks as well Roll eyes

I found a brand new genuine pump on egay for £95 and fitted it this afternoon and all is good again Smile
Sounded bloody awful getting in and out of parking spaces LOL
