A mate called round tonight as he's picked up a Diablo P1 gti6 for a good price, so we thought we would go for a little drive, took some pics along the way, was loosing the light though. Smile

Fair play, looks tidy. Both of them do. I'll be up your way in the next couple of weeks to pick up a cherry P1.

Cheers lads!

The diablo has a few battle scars but seems a solid car. He mentioned today you were coming up for a 6 in buxton. Did you not have a 309 gti, what happened to that?

Yeah I did. Took it off the road for a bit to save on insurance and tax, then it got stolen back in June. Not a trace, and no payout. Sad Really gutted about that, it was a nice, very tidy 85k thing with FSH I'd put a VTS engine and box into.

see that big arrowed goyt valley sign? i may/may not have the other one which was on the reverse of the other sign in my loft from 2004 Whistle Whistle

went down there all the time at the bottom carpark up in the fields and woods on motocross bikes, had the cops appear one day and asked what we were doing.. they knew full well we were all dicking about but we told them we'd waiting till everyone had gone and nobody was walking there etc etc.. they let us carry on, about 10 of us on bikes! probably the only place you can do what you like. then again my mate camped out there Laugh my ass off and the warden poked a shotgun in his tent and told him to move or "get blasted" at 3am

just noticed your black masks, they look ace Cool

Lol suprised they let you on bikes due to walkers etc. But yeah, it is just a big playground , have you ever been up when theres a night time rave on, we drove through once and there were some weird looking people about, they use whats left of the old hall.

Yeah, thanks i think the black masks go better Smile

i spent every weekend and most nights of my teenage youth in various cars down there, daft but it's just ace to get out and down that way

dunno about the raves.. probably about right as we were down there one night and some absolute weapon head was going psycho with no clothes on at the bridge and shouting / raving on his own, and jumped in. police showed up out of nowhere, couldn't find him anywhere, very surreal

first night i got my old p1 306 xsi i went down there and my battery went flat at about 11pm on the bottom carpark with my stereo on with the mrs Whistle and i was completely stranded / had no signal. after about an hour some mad guy in a volvo showed up... with a boot FULL of jump leads by pure coincidence Laugh my ass off just my luck

good place down there, love it. not been down there for a bit, when my 205's done i'll be back that way every single night
