Hi guys recently stripped rear of the rallye out and now the 3rd does nt work on braking but randomly flashs.
I've connect all the plugs up drivers side but they is a brown plug the other side which i could'nt find the other end of.So how to complete disconect it? or even make it work as normal.

Thanks Sam

If it was working before you stripped the car out then you have something not plugged in or not plugged in correctly.
If you want rid of the 3rd light, just unplug it and take it out. Then make sure your normal 2 brake lights still work with the 3rd one disconnected.

You have stripped the car out, is this for track use or just normal road driving??
If track use i would think your better to keep it.
In fact just keep it, as you could void your insurance.

If you get twatted in the ass and the person says they didnt see any brake lights and the insurance company see you have removed the 3rd light, you could be in a world of s**t as its a standard fit to the car. Therefore by removing it you would need to inform your insurance company.

Not having one on a car built after a certain date is an MOT failure unless I'm mistaken.

I must admit it's not something I would consider getting rid of to be honest.

The amount of people that still stuff others up the rear end when they DO have 3 working brake lights, I shudder to think of the chances of that happening if you only went down to 2 working lights...Crazy
