Wow I forgot how Feisty this little car is. Drive home was surprisingly comfortable and uneventful. It's actually a lot quieter on idle that the 1.3 8v I just sold. Rev counter didn't work when I picked it up but just yesterday decided to work again. No real plans other than respray wheels anthracite and relocate battery to the boot. ________________________________________ Beef Beyond Belief |

I wrapped a bonnet on an old car a couple of years ago, cheaper than a respray and look good imo. Went over to see my mates Clio during the day when one of our friends decided to stop by in his 205.. 405bhp @ 1.6bar. I believe it has a nice feature in the next copy of French Performance. Needles to say he shot off into the distance while I had a play with the bodied Clio. No pic of the 205 engine bay, I'll pop one up after the feature. There's one I've seen loads I times that has an evo 6 engine in with 550bhp but all it does is spin the wheels up constantly and doesn't really move lol.________________________________________ Black power baby! Grip is a bit of an issue, has a LSD, but nothing like that Constella EVO engine ONE, that's can't seem to get off the line. This gets off the line faster than his Ferrari. Has a Gti-6 lump, not sure of what pistons but lairy turbo spec cams and a lot of headwork. Whole car is a work of art imo, No expenses spared. Went out for a blast last night to have some fun in the Rallye. Dual carriageway onto roundabouts and off down some lanes at night when I shifted fast and my accelerator pedal dropped to the floor.. Pulled over to find my accelerator cable had snapped. And I mean the actual metal cable about an inch about the white clip by my pedal. Car has polycarb windows, reach in, open up so I didn't fancy leaving it there over night so I ran the cable through the door and ran throttle by hand! Got home without even stalling once!
