The time has come to move on so I am breaking my Hi Boost 6 Sad

I am no longer living for the 306!

The car was converted to Low boost by myself during August 2009 and ran faultlessly until the headgasket went a few weeks after I attended a trackday at Snetterton in August 2010.

It seemed rude not to do a full engine rebuild to prepare for Hi Boost at some point in the future so I did just that.
I sourced a bare block from Rich_W and built it up with Wossner Pistons and PEC conrods. So for a while I had trouble free motoring with a high boost engine running low boost....
Then I span a big-end bearing one November night on the way to Somerset....

I nearly spat the dummy out at this point but persevered and got the engine rebuilt by Rich_W. This was done sometime around Feb/March 2011. The car had no running problems but I hardly drove it for the next couple of months as I had a more comfortable and practical car to use as a daily driver.

By October I decided the time was right to throw more money at it and got the swirlpot/uprated fuel pump/fuel lines and bigger intercooler installed along with the High Boost map.
The ride home from Lynx on 31st October 2011 was certainly fun and now less than a year later I am putting it up for sale.
Someone else deserves the white knuckle ride that is High Boost.
If you want to buy the car as is be warned it is not the prettiest. It has serious bodywork issues that need attention and I'm not going to spend any more money on it.

Take it away for £8k

Or buy the bits you want...

The engine/ecu/modified Phase 2 loom/gearbox/supercharger/intercooler/pipework/swirl pot/uprated fuel pump/fuel lines is for sale as a package for £7k

Full Decat Jetex Exhaust system with modified section to increase bore to 2 1/2" £250

TD Pro Race 1.2 16" direct fit alloy wheels in Anthracite 2 wheels fitted with Toyo Proxes 4, the others with Pirelli Neros £450

Renaultsport Brembo calipers with Ash's 310mm rotors and braided brake lines £500

Bilstein B8/B6 dampers with Eibach -30mm springs £250

Rear beam lowered 30mm with Pug Racing Solid mounts and 21mm torsion bars £300 with Hyrbid ARB £400

Genuine Pug Wishbones with Rich_W Roller Bearing Bushes (with replacement bearings) £125

Obviously there are lots of other bits for sale but nothing will be happening until I get concrete interest in the engine package. I don't want half a car on the driveway or stuck in the garage.

I am not interested in a part exchange as I have too many cars around me at the moment. I need to downsize the fleet.

I will take some pictures and update the thread over the weekend.
Offers by PM please to keep the spam to a minimum.

The beam is fine. It was refurbed by mechanical repairs back in 2009 and has since been taken apart and reassembled when I put the 21mm torsion bars on it in sometime in 2010. It's been siliconed around the offset washers and the hyrid arb was copper greased. It's definitely not seized.

I am in South West London.

The wheels in the photo are 16 inch K+N Track wheels with Yokohama AD048's that I bought off Ash a couple of years ago.

Yes it is a shame to break it but I knew I would have to do this when I started modifying it. Unless someone offers me what I want for the whole car it's going to happen Sad

Thanks for all the PM's so far. I will be taking photos of the parts that people have asked about but bear in mind you will be waiting until the engine package sells before I strip the car!
