I was wondering if theres any upgrades available as the handbrake is completly poo!Thumbs down

I changed the pads for greenstuffs when i bought the car and in the process i greased the pistons and made sure they were free ect. ect.... (I worked at a main dealer onceLOL ) However, still poor performance.

I don't want to do handbrake turns on the street or anything, would be nice if it just held on the drive Yes
God only knows how i'm going to warm the tyres at york raceway on the 27thDunno

New cable does wonders. Other than that, get yourself some wheel chocks for the drive Thumbs up

Granted the handbrake isn't great, but if it won't hold on your drive then something is not right.

Check the cables as said, and strip the calipers down, including cleaning and re-greasing the handbrake mechanisms and go from there.

The cable that's on looks and feels brand new, I'll look into fitting a new one anyway. So is this not something usual then? I've used green stuff for years an never had a problem, people say they're only standard pads painted green which is total BS, they make the 306 stand on its nose! It had ferodos on when I bought it and it felt like a standard set up. Does this mechanism just not agree with pads like this? I do engage a gear on the drive LOL but as mentioned, I'm going to look a right plonker when I'm trying to burnout/warm tyres at York Laugh my ass off

Gonna look like a plonker anyway Razz

Youll never warm the rears up enough for them to work, hence usi.g std pads.
