right so a bit of a update. bought some Meyle HD wishbones to replace my worn cheapys. Made a great difference and meant the car passed its mot first time without a single advisory!

Also got a ally pulley to fit when i do my waterpump and a new alarm siren from a 206.

Also, helped a mate break a gti for parts over the weekend

Haha thats not actually me. its my mate who insists that its the tool for every job. I can kind of agree tbh. bigger tools are the way forwards no matter what the job is!

I've got some reclining buckets in the track car I'm thinking of selling at some point. No point having them!

These are out of a rx8 so not really reclining buckets. Ive sat in a few sets of buckets now and have been uncomfortable but these are best of both worlds. Very comfortable and hold you really well!

got my passenger seat in. Oh god its comfy!! Got sam to do a bit of welding for me this morning. Only issue is i couldnt get hold of any angle steel today so had to use some ally down the side on the sill. Its still nice and secure but flexes slightly when you sit in it. Going to replace with some 4mm angle steel and jobs a goodun!

Funny thing is, even with the ally, its still more secure than the original seat lol.

also, got various bits done today but main being sams win pipe on his NAD

busy few evenings ahead. got to fit my original doors so the colour matches, fit a new rear bumper and get my drivers seat in! oh and fit a set of torsion bars but i might end up doing that at the christmas meet lol

took the mount off so it was literally just armrest (in the seat, its on a big arm), fitted it onto a 30mm spacer and fitted that to the centre console and made a hole through it for my ipod cable. Could do with out the spacer but im 6ft5 so wanted it raised a bit. serves me right for being a lanky prick!

Cool may look into one. I miss not having an armrest from an old car.

got my 22.5mm torsion bars fitted today. Was a bit sceptical and thought they would be too stiff but they are perfect. Definitely recommend them as a upgrade to anyone! Bad news is i took the thread out of one of the old bars so will have to rethread that if i want to ever reuse them/sell them

difference in size between new and old.

Also had a issue with my heaters since ive had the car where by if ive got it set on auto, can leave it at 21 degrees and it will fluctuate all over the place. think i found out why.....

Sam gave me the one off of Irene anyway so bunged that on and all is good Big grin
Really am hoping to get my drivers seat in this week. Brackets are made, just need a bit of grinding done and some welding (im useless at both!!) and it can go in. Hopefully before the christmas meet as i hate long drives in the standard seats...there not designed for lanky pricks!

so just returned from the christmas meet in the car. this was the first time its been cleaned since July so a dodgy whoring photo is in order

some of the more observant of you (and everyone who went to the meet) will of noticed ive finally got both of my seats in Big grin

put one of the mounts on for the base of the drivers seat upside down so it was leaning forwards all the way here. Changed it when i got home and god its comfy now! Highly recommend them to anyone looking for something different!
Downside is, got loads of burns on the back of the seat from welding them. Covered it up but clearly not with something thick enough! Just won a new drivers back though for 30 quid so will get that fitted when i can be bothered

Cheers mate. The 195s are quite crashy. When I change them for ps3s, I'll be going for 205s which will bring them up to the same rolling radius as the standard 55s on clones. At the moment, despite the fact they are 16s, they are still quite a bit smaller than standard!

The wheels come with eagle f1s. Fairly good in the dry but they are shocking at the sight of rain. Give me michelins any day!

This is well out of date. Will update It later.
