Hi all,

I've not put some propper pics up since I've joined so thought why not today seeing as it was so nice after work and I had some new/old rims to refit.

It was just a quick 2 bucket wash although I had given it as full a detail as I could be bothered with a month or so back and it's kept pretty good since then despite all the rain, though it could do with topping up on the wax.

I do have the wing bumpstrips but they were removed for the detail a while back and it's just not been good enough weather to silicone them back on until now so the next pics will have them on. Anyway, here's how it stands now:

It's fairly standard really, just the changes you can see and no trick shiney parts under the bonnet as yet though that will be changing.

Got some solid rear beam mounts to fit and then some Yellow billies all round so hopefully it will drop the front a touch more. Shopping list includes lightened flywheel, lightened pullies and hopefully some 21mm TBs and Hybrid ARB.

The aim is for fast road/light track spec as hopefully get 1 or 2 under my belt now the sun has come out and then hit it hard next year.

Thanks for reading and all comments welcome Smile

Cheers lads, that's why I wanted black so much as it does come up so good in the sun but just a shame it doesn't last as it spends it's day parked next to the M1 to covered in dust straight away. Really pleased with the wheels too as I spent long enough on them! LOL

Just got a niggle or two left to sort out but hopefully going to get on one of the Donnigton evening sessions in August as it's only 20-30 mins away from me and feel an evening session would be a good way to get into it without killing/over-doing me or the car.

Thanks for the feedback and jord is correct, they are 16s though wouldn't mind some 15s for the track and keep these for the road.

It has been lowered on the front but its only dropped on eibachs on oe shocks which didn't drop it quite as much as I would have liked but hopefully the yellow billies will drop it about another 10mm. The floor isn't the best where I got the pics as its very uneven but nice quiet spot with decent scenery, just a shame the sunset was on the other side!

i understand you haven't done anything with rear beam yet???

as you say, it could be the pics, but i reckon the rear needs lifting slightly. BUT if you're hoping for a further drop on the front with the bilsteins, it may balance out ok Thumbs up

Nah the rear has been lowered, just it was over estimated how much the eibachs would drop the front so I agree that it is definitely a bit arse heavy currently.

Plan is to fit the billies, see how it sits then and maybe raise the rear 5-10mm when I get some 21mm TBs though I'll probably end up spending all my money on wheels as that's what usually happens LOL
