Picking up a BMW 318 CI tomorrow. Im in two minds on whether I've made the right decision.

Has any one owned one of these before?

boring engine that's for sure! I've got a 318ti and it's a total yawn wagon

318 is a waste of time as others have said, the e46 forum description: "think of it as a hamster powering a mini up a hill". Definately need a straight 6 under the bonnet.

E36 328i and e46 330 apart from the m3's are the only bmws worth having engine wise. Although to be honest you cant really tell the difference between the 325 in the e36 model. Never been in an e30 so wouldnt know. Unless you get a convertible for posing like a tw@ i suppose the engine size wont matter Thumbs up
