Best place to get a kit? Need one as mines snapped

What brand and where to get one? Recommendation please

If yours has snapped you need more than a cambelt kit thats for sure!!!Thumbs down

Presuming you know the head will need rebuilding as the valves and pistons will have hit each other?Dunno

get the head off and get it looked at an head engineering shop and check all the valves, also make sure your bottom pulley hasn't rotated so the timing marks are out. they are known for the rubber inside to move in relation to the outer steel pulley.

You might consider an engine change as a cheaper alternative and sell your bits to get some money back. the last head I had done cost about 450-550 plus new belt...

Valve guides and seats will need checking tooYes

As Andy says,not a cheap job if there is alot of valves bentSad

Obviously you need to consider price of headgasket kit,labour too if you can't remove head yourselfDunno

Work will all be done by a few mates and me, I have a replacement head that's been rebuilt so should be all sweet, will get a replacement bottom Pully while I'm at it, maybe even upgrade it too a shiney one Smile

Bottom ends have been kown to fail not long after a belt fail as well so be warned Yes

Matt did your belt actually snap or did it just slip? From what I saw it had only slipped!
