When I lock the steering all the way to the left, the Aux belt seems to look like it's trying to jump a tooth on the pas pump.

Any ideas?

It could be as eliotrw says a knackered bearing that when under load wobbles.
Could be the pullie itself loose.

Might, just might be a knackered rack thats sending to much presure back to the pump causing it to overload and wobble the spindle thus wobbling the pullie.

Sure the pullie is not bent or the belt fubard.
Could be the crank pullie wobbling??

Think you need to take off the cover over the pullie and try and wobble the pullie and see what happen's.

With the engine OFF obviously.

Thats all i can think of Smile

Craig - Haven't you just re-installed the pump into its orignal location after stripping the SC kit off?

If so, my guess is the pump isn't quite running true inline with the rest of the aux belt system, and when there is a lot of load on it it trys to jump off...
Maybe worth checking the alignment of it again and ensuring you've got the right spacers/washers fitted in the right locations as it does sound suspect if this issue has only occured since refitting the pump. Smile

One thing I have thought. This Seems to have started since I fitted a new tensioner screw last weekend, perhaps It's now not tensioned correctly. I'll look at that later.

That's a good place to start, if it's too tight it will put unnecessary load on the pump bearings. Yes
