I bought these parts last year with the plan to build a 2.2 gti6 engine for the rallye. If I am honest 1, I can’t be arsed and 2, I am so busy with other things at the moment.

The crank is from a 2.1 derv and come with a set of s16 rods with 8x spacers that were machined up to space the rods in the forged pistons that were used. This meant only one end of the rod was floating.

At the same time I bought a gti6 engine that had a knocking bottom end when warm. It was perfect for turning into a 2.2 as the buggered parts would be being replaced. The engine is a complete bare engine - no manifolds etc but including sump, pas bracket, cam covers.

There is a slim chance I can get my hands on the original pistons used in the old 2.2 conversion but they will be at extra cost.

I paid £230 for the lot and that is what I would like back. Collection is from Warrington.

I will get some pictures up soon if there is any interest.
