+1 A pet hate is unpainted interior walls. They look grim and attract dust. Apart from that it's perfect.

Liking the little touches, going to have to do the garage at my next house properly. Want a nice big double garage off the mark though lol.

Well not a lot has happened to my garage build as it was more or less finished but yesterday I managed to pick up a cheap tv and got sky installed in the garage, unreal ha ha.

Just need to find a wall bracket-

Also painted a face on the missus belly whilst she was a sleep

She awoke to find it funny.

I have now bought a drill so I can add some decor to the garage walls, I am thinking of painting the back wall you may be pleased to know, but not white Unsure

Jealous that you have better units in your garage than I do in my Kitchen.

Done a little more today, bought a wall bracket off a forum member to mount the tv to the wall, where I put the tv it was to shallow so had to knock up a piece of wood to space it out a little.

I think it worked a treat. A picture of the business end.

Need to get the cars out and give em a clean.

Porsche has been getting some engine bay treatment for any one that's interest, started looking like this-

Now like this, excuse the engine lid prop. Still a few bits to finish.

Well I have been using the garage as a workshop just lately, done a couple of 306 heater matrix jobs in there (yes coolant went on the tiles!) it wasn't that bad to be fair, as the girlfriend is heavily pregnant it was easier to do the jobs at home in the garage rather than stay at work, that way if any thing was up I was only a few feet away.

It's very cosy I have to say, tv on, heaters on and a beer fridge close by its a little too cosy.

I am going to start doing a few more jobs from home so decided to buy my self a moveable ramp, let me introduce a wheel lift-

Have to say its very good and so simple to use, well if you don't want that one wheel off-

I have been toying with the idea of cracking out the white paint on the breeze blocks, damn you Rikky.

I thought the same to be fair, I was offered one of these about 12 months ago but wasn't that keen, a local body's hop has one and they lift sprinter vans etc and rate it highly so I decided to go for it.

The car is very solid but obviously I would whack an axle stand under there just to be safe.

I've used a much much bigger version of the same thing on HGV's and Coaches, tis quite daunting at first standing under 12 ton supported at each axle Shock

I wouldn't think so, yes there is some weight on the one wheel being lifted but essentially the other two wheels on the other side have at least halve the weight due to gravityDunno

Plus when it's on the ground it's getting some serious stick when driving it, well when I do drive it.

We shall see, I do love the idea of it, great for getting up in the air and on some stands, just think if you have had one you could have finished that evo? What's happening with that?

As for the walls I am coming round to the idea now, thinking grey for the first few layers of breeze block then white for the rest? Damn you lot.

does the lift have any sort of lock on it so you can work under the car with it? Tbh even when i use axle stands, i always leave the jack under there if its not in the way. Just feels safer having more than one support.

It has two buttons to press, one an electric button and one a lever, still wouldn't risk it.
