Banged a set of coilpacks on it few months ago,low mileage uncracked ones to replace the cracked originalsDunno

Misfire clears above 2000rpm when cold, and goes once upto tempDunno

Intake Air Temp sensor could possibly be playing up?

Sounds like it's temperature related. What other fuel do you run it on?

Unlikely as Kev says the issue is only there on warm up and the lambda isn't used on warm up, it is running open loop. Yes

Ok ta,worth getting a used one?Smile

Normally run it on normal unleaded, performance diffrence between the two is only just noticeable, and as its a daily driver the cost is not worth itThumbs up

Good thinkingThumbs up Your thinking one plug will be sooted up more than the others?Smile

For the cost of the sensor I would just buy a new one mate. Yes

However, before you do that follow Welshpug's advice and do a plug chop and see what the criac is. If you have 3 decent plugs and one that's different it won't be that sensor that is causing it. Smile

Starts and idles perfect though from any temp Dunno

Misfire is only when driving on very light throttle and not upto normal temp.

Will get a air temp sensor to tryThumbs up

Whipped plugs out,all the same colour, and only lightly sooted as I would expect when not upto temp.

Ok, so now is the time to unplug the lambda and see if the issue disappears. Yes

I would not expect the lambda to be giving sensible inputs when the engine is not up to temp, however it is free and easy for you to try and you can at least eliminate it then Kev. Smile

Did you find the answer to this problem at all ?

All but one of my plugs are sooty, my misfire is intermittent, its has a popping sound too. Only misfires at low revs, once the very low revs do go up the rev range after its hesitation has passed doing a fast whip up rev range..

Mine is also daily and for a pence difference, super unleaded gets me more miles, strange though that my old Astor did the opposite, ran better on poverty petrol

NoThumbs down

From what I've worked out from different forums/people with the same issue it seems its due to the lightened flywheel, the injector timing needs adjusting due to the big difference in the weightRoll eyes

Someone on here had there car chipped/re-mapped with the injector timing adjusted and it sorted the pronblemThumbs up

Thats not good, iv not heard that fitting the light fly wheel means it has to be retimed. Does anyone have an idea where this sort of thing can be done?

I didnt realise the ecu can be tuned, i thought it was set.

Not just any rolling road place then, do you have a contact website or number for them at all ?

I would much prefer a local place in Leicestershire or near abouts that can sort it out for me.

If the remaining tests im going to do dont sort my low rev hesitation problem im gonna get a mobile technition out to do a diagnostic, it will cost me £45 and saves throwing good money after bad imo.

This is intresting as i get split misfire in the morning when cold, but goes after couple of seconds. But I do get hesistation/misfire between 30 mph when cold but goes when warm.could this be down to lightened flywheel? Would a remap sort this?

At a guess get a diagnostic to be sure nothing else is wrong then if nothing shows up go get it remapped so injectors are set correctly.

My supercharged 6 is almost undrivable at times when cold misfires and splutters and coughs etc. I've changed all 4 coil packs with a spare set and made no difference. It also did this before it was charged sometimes.

I work for a Citroen Peugeot garage so our code reader accesses everything and there are no fault codes at all and all sensors are working perfectly so I can only put it down to the flywheel and crank pulley on the engine.
