For sale are a pair of Catcams 4903110's.
Included are 16x valve springs (PAC-S90019) and 16x spring retainers (99318).

The cams have been bedded in and covered approximately 2000 miles. I bought these second hand with the intention of building up a forged high compression lump for my track car but i've decided to go down a different route.

I paid more than they are up for, i'm in no rush to lose more money so sensible offers only please. Smile

http://catcams.co.uk/acatalog/4903110.pdf

full cam details here for you.

2.95mm lift @ TDC, so well over twice the safe lift for a standard piston LOL using the springs are a must at 11.50 mm lift, as the std springs co coilbound past 10.9mm

Hi,
I have a few question about the springs setup.

The recommended springs for these cams are others - double - PAC-E92009 + PAC-I92009

The springs that you are offering are single PAC-S90019
Also they have different parameters.

The same goes for retainers - recommended ones are 99317, and you are offering 99318.

Is it absolutely sure sure that these springs/ratianers could be used with these cams?
And is it possible to use stock (O.E.M.) inside springs with yours single springs?

To tell you the truth i'm not 100% sure about the springs and retainers, so i've emailed Catcams themselves to double check.

Looking at this page leads me to think that maybe these should work with the cams, since the top package only mentions single springs and retainers, my guess would be that the previous owner bought them like this. http://www.catcams.co.uk/acatalog/Peugeot_306_Gti-6_XU10J4RS.html
I would also assume that the retainers are to suit the single springs, and that the oem inner springs would not be used with the catcams springs.

Once Catcams get back to me i will update this thread. Smile

I'm not trying to be snobby or up myself, but seriously...

Did you actually read anything in this thread? The worst thing is you seem to be looking to mod you engine and you can't put the effort in to read the thread, how do you expect to modify your engine if you don't reasearch anything?
