It's not that bad, no.

I could never get a decent launch at Santa Pod when I was doing it back in the day, it would either be too high revs and loads of wheelspin or too low revs and bog down.

The best I ever saw was a 15.8 out of mine in standard trim. Wink

Yeah, launching is hard to get right, took me a fair few attempts to get the cossie right.

I probably could launch the car reasonably well, but I have too much mechanical sympathy for the clutch. Yes

Saying that though, I usually get good starts at Prescott Hill when Pugfest is on. Yes

Mechanical sympathy is something i don't possess! 5.5k-6k side step's was my launch tactic!

I've still to do the strip yet just terrified I'll knack the car and be left stranded there LOL
