well, yesterday i took a trip up to thurso after work (125 miles each way) to pick up an interior for my car, along with a few other bits from Taiterboy.

I took just 3 pics of the car in wick unfortunately as i only had my crappy phone.

all was going well, had a really great night with my mate to keep me company, My mate asked Taiterboy where would be a good place to get some munch, and eventually we decided to go to "Curry king" they dont sell curries though, just pizza and kebabs and according to the menu "Donar Bargers" lol.

we were a bit scared of eating the pizza we had, as they only went in the othen for 2 minutes. if that. and when he said they were ready we went to pick them off the counter and he grabbed them and shouted "ANYTHING WRONG YOU TELL ME, why people to dont tell me and not come back i dont know" was very strange lol

any ways was aiming to get back to nairn for just the back of midnight, but we stopped in at embo and dornoch. which was strange, a lady that was driving infront stopped her car and got out, came up to my window and said "Your not following me are you??" i just showed her the gps on my phone and said i was following it lol.

then just outside Invergordon this happened

and yes, I had previously removed my spare lol.

this happened at around midnight. and thankfully within 15 minutes a guy stopped and helped me out, he went home and got an alloy but it was et 35, so then he went to the scrappies ( hes the owners brother) how lucky was I.
he wouldnt exept any money from me, so i gave it to his grandson who was with him.

SPACE SAVER FOR THE WIN!!!

turned out to be pretty expensive interior lol

3/4 of a tank of super unleaded £60
interior and other bits £60
pizza £20
payment for the guys £20

so now im rooked Sad

What's wrong with that? Most of them have cleaning agents built in so even if you don't benefit from the performance you will benefit from that, however the '6' engine was designed to run on 97 RON but will accept 95 RON according to the handbook. Yes

What caused the blow out? Did you have a chunk out previous? Or was it just random?

ive never had a problem with it.

only reason im using it is, ive got 3 petrol stations where i live, a gulf, a shell and a sainsburys that opened last year.

its about 141.9 for unleaded at both the gulf and the shell. and super unleaded at sainsburys is 136.9/137.9 i cant remember.

theres a good few pence difference anyways.

so thought i'd use it.

I think it's worth it, especially on a tuned motor. Yes

If your standard, I was still using it back then and the engine seemed to pull slightly harder with it, plus like I say most of them include cleaning agents to keep everything in tip top condition. Smile
