I've gone and snapped the bonnet release handle under the steering wheel. its come off so I have to use pliers to pull the cable,

what's the best way to reconnect the handle anyone

Or there is 3 or 4 on ebay, or try any scrapyard as I'm sure there will be a 306 in stock. Also try the ads on this site to see who's breaking a car. For something like that you don't really want to go and pay dealer prices.

just rang Peugeot. anyone want to gander the costs... £29.68 for the part...and 1 hrs labour and a bargain £130... how about NO

what parts will need to be removed to allow the cable to be fed through?

If its just the handle in the car thats snapped then you dont need to do anything with the cable except attach it to the new handle.

I've just fitted aerocatches to my bonnet, if i can find my bonnet release handle you can have it for the cost of postage. I'll even have the cable if you need it?

I'll have a search for it tomorrow as all the bits from my car are scattered in my other car's boot, my bedroom, the track car and various other hidy holes where i can stash stuff. LOL
